Prenatal Chiropractic Care in Solana Beach
Webster-certified care for every trimester, every body, and every birth goal. Pregnancy should feel like an unfolding, not a long list of new aches. We are here to help you feel like yourself, stay mobile, and prepare your body for the birth experience you want.
What Is Prenatal Chiropractic Care
Prenatal chiropractic is gentle, specific, and entirely different from regular chiropractic. We use a pregnancy pillow system that lets you lie comfortably (yes, even at 38 weeks). The adjustments are light, often delivered with the hands or a small instrument, and tailored to where your body is in your pregnancy.
Dr. Lisel is Webster certified, which is the most recognized prenatal chiropractic credential in the country. Webster work focuses on the pelvis. When the pelvis is balanced, your round ligaments soften, your sacrum sits properly, and baby has the maximum room to grow, move, and settle into position for birth.
Patients tell us it is the most relaxing 30 minutes of their week. They often sleep better that night, breathe deeper, walk taller, and feel a little more like themselves the next morning. That is what we are here to do.
Conditions We Help With
Sharp, stabbing pulls along the lower belly or groin as baby grows. We release tension in the round ligaments and balance the pelvis.
That deep, low ache that shows up around week 28 and just will not leave. We focus on the sacrum, hips, and thoracic spine to give you back range of motion.
Aching, grinding, or shooting pain at the front of the pelvis. Webster-technique work brings the pelvis back into alignment and relief usually follows.
Webster technique is the most-studied chiropractic approach for breech presentation. The goal is to balance the pelvis so baby has room to turn naturally.
Sharp pain or numbness down the leg, often from a baby pressing on a nerve. We work the lumbar spine and pelvis to take pressure off the nerve.
Healing the diastasis, recovering the pelvic floor, and rebuilding strength after birth.
Our Approach
Every prenatal visit starts with a check-in. How are you feeling, what is new, what has shifted since last week. From there, we look at your pelvis, your sacrum, your hips, and your thoracic spine. We use Webster technique as the core, paired with gentle soft-tissue work where it is needed.
We adjust the cadence of your care plan based on where you are in pregnancy. Most patients come in once or twice a week in the third trimester, especially in the final four to six weeks. Earlier in pregnancy, every other week is often enough.
You will leave each visit with simple movement homework and a clear sense of where your body is right now.
